Agoura Hills

No signs of forced entry were noted in the theft of $10,250 worth of jewelry. The burglary occurred between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. July 9 at a Kimberly Drive home.

Tools and work boots were stolen (a loss of $438) from a vehicle on Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 3 and 7:30 a.m. July 13. Two other vehicle burglaries occurred in the same parking lot during the same time frame. In one incident, a truck window was damaged and a laptop computer was stolen (total loss: $2,075). In the other incident, the loss was $950 after an SUV window was smashed and a surfboard was stolen.

Cash and three collector’s versions of "G.I. Joe" were stolen from a business (no signs of forced entry) in the 28200 block of Agoura Road the afternoon of July 9. The total loss was $2,150 and the investigating deputy theorized that the suspect(s) were familiar with the location and the value of action figures because other, less expensive G.I. Joes weren’t stolen.

Burglar(s) threw a rock through business window in the 30400 block of Canwood Street between July 11 and 13 and stole a laptop computer. The total loss was $1,150.

A Jeep had $200 window damage in the 31200 block of Agoura Road the night of July 15 and a computer bag, a Palm Pilot and a DSL cord were stolen (an additional loss of $250).

Four truck tires were punctured ($360 damage) in the 30200 block of Agoura Road between 4:30 and 7:30 a.m. July 16.

Truck windows were smashed ($350 loss) behind a supermarket in the 5600 block of Kanan Road the night of July 10.

Dents to the trunk of a car caused $300 in vandalism damage. The incident occurred on Hillrise Drive the night of July 10.

Between July 10 and 12 in the 30600 block of Rigger Road, the padlock to a shed was damaged, and tool box and tools were stolen (a loss of $153).

An ID badge was stolen ($30 loss) from a car in the 30100 block of Agoura Road between 1 and 2 a.m. July 11.

A male in a truck (no further description) threw a brick at a mailbox on Foxfield Drive at 11:30 p.m. July 12, causing $12 damage.

Calabasas

An Asian male, 25-30, (5-8, 180) broke through a window of a Ruthwood Drive home at 2:40 p.m. July 12. A female victim saw the suspect standing in her dining room and she screamed and called out for her husband. The suspect jumped out of the dining room window and the husband pursued the subject toward the street in the 5800 block, but the suspect jumped into a red or maroon newer model car and sped away. Damages to the windows were $100, but nothing had been stolen. A license plate check revealed that the car was a rental. The investigation was continuing.

Construction workers had access to a home in the 26900 block of Helmond Drive between July 12 and 14 when major appliances were stolen. The items were valued at $6,200.

The loss was $800 after a car’s front and rear windshields were vandalized on Park Monaco on July 13 or 14.

The T-top to a Pontiac Firebird was stolen ($500 loss) on Alizia Canyon the night of July 14.

French doors had $200 damage, but nothing appeared to have been stolen after a home was broken into between June 28 and July 14 on Valley View Drive.

The loss was $160 after two knives and a flashlight were stolen from an unlocked SUV on De Berry Drive between July 3 and 8.

Westlake Village

At 3 a.m. July 15, a car’s burglar alarm went off on Janlor Drive. The alarm must have scared the suspect(s) away.
