Soteras has what it takes to help Agoura Hills

Soteras has what it takes to help Agoura Hills

The purpose of this letter is to submit to your newspaper my support for Alex Soteras, who has decided to "throw his hat into the ring" and run for a seat on the Agoura Hills City Council.

I have known Soteras since he was an undergraduate student at Seaver College of Pepperdine University. As a student he demonstrated unique characteristics that made him an outstanding student who was liked by all of his peers.

His sense of discipline, desire and determination helped him succeed in a competitive and challenging academic environment. These same characteristics have made him a successful business-person and an outstanding community leader.

As a member of the Agoura Hills City Council, Soteras will command the respect of the business community, law enforcement agency, educational community, fire department and other members of our great city of Agoura Hills. His personal enthusiasm for life is contagious and his respect for human decency is admirable.

As a successful businessper-son, he will bring his own ideas and experience into play when considering and preparing budget items and expenses. He is a man who will consider what is best for our city and will not give in to pressure from outside influences.

I urge every voter in Agoura Hills to vote for Soteras for city council on Election Day. Our community is in great need of civic-minded leaders like Alex Soteras.
