Total Child Safety, Inc. will host a free safety presentation for parents from 7 to 9 p.m. Tues., Aug. 19 at Pinecrest School, 449 Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks.

Special guest speaker Scott Urbach, former special agent with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, will share his perspective on the protection of children. The practical strategies and tools he will provide are applicable for keeping children of all ages, from pre-school to high school, safe from harm. There will be a live demonstration on the perils of the Internet.

The seminar’s sponsors have indicated that this is an "adults only" presentation.

The material will be presented in "a realistic and explicit format that is at times graphic in both nature and content. Some of the things attendees will see and hear may be shocking or disturbing."

Early registration is suggested by calling (805) 230-1100.
