Agoura Hills

A truck window had $200 damage and computer equipment, digital cameras, a projector and accessories were stolen. The loot was valued at $9,300 and the break-in occurred the night of June 17 at a hotel parking lot in the 30100 block of Agoura Road.

A car window was smashed between 1:30 and 9 a.m. June 20 on Bamfield Drive and computer equipment and a CD player were stolen. The total loss was $4,900.

Between 2 and 2:30 a.m. June 22, a resident on Hempstead Drive heard a noise outside her home. She saw a black truck and two juvenile males, both about 17 (one with blondish-red hair) in the back of the pickup, throwing eggs at her vehicles. When she went outdoors, the truck sped away. The damages were estimated at $500.

A dog kennel and padlock had $315 damages at the Agoura Animal Shelter and a golden retriever/lab mix dog was stolen ($100 loss). One of the shelter volunteers may have been involved because the dog was troublesome and probably would have been put to sleep.

An SUV’s rear window was shattered ($300 damage) between 4:45 and 5 p.m. June 24 at McDonald’s.

Calabasas

At 9:24 a.m. June 22, deputies on patrol noticed a smashed glass door at a business in the 24000 block of Ventura Boulevard. After a contact person came to the location, it was determined that $6,400 worth of computer equipment had been stolen. The damage was estimated at $1,000 and the burglary occurred the night of June 21.

A Nissan pickup valued at $3,000 was stolen at a gas station in the 24100 block of Ventura Boulevard at 1:10 p.m. June 21. The victim had left her keys in the truck and a male Hispanic (6-0, 200) drove away in it, a witness said.

A Mustang convertible was extensively damaged with scratches (a loss of $2,500) between 2 and 2:15 p.m. June 21 in the 4700 block of Commons Way while the victim was shopping at a supermarket.

A cell phone was stolen ($200 loss) from a motel room in the 26500 block of Agoura Road between 12:25 and 3:15 p.m. June 21.

Oak Park

Someone stole $4,980 in cash from a home between 8 a.m. June 23 and 8 a.m. June 25 in the 200 block of Smoketree Avenue.

Between 6 a.m. and noon June 28 at Oak Park High School, an outdoor canopy and outdoor furniture that totaled a loss of $850 were stolen.

Westlake/T.O.

At 9:40 p.m. June 27 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard, four subjects were arrested for urinating in public.

Westlake Village

After a construction worker told two boys to stop riding their skateboards, a male juvenile picked up and hit an outdoor stairway light fixture with his skateboard. Both boys were white and about 4-10 with dark hair. The damage was $200 and the vandalism occurred at 12:30 p.m. June 22 in the 30700 block of Russell Ranch Road.
