Kuperberg can’t claim that he was against

Your last issue included an article on Dan Kuperberg’s decision to seek reelection to the Agoura Hills City Council. The reporter writes, "In addition to his views on open space, Kuperberg has voiced strong opinions against commercial development. He opposed the Home Depot big box store in Agoura Hills last year."

What? For Kuperberg to say that he was against the Home Depot in Agoura Hills is outrageous as well as completely untrue.

He was not only an avid and vocal supporter of the Home Depot, but he also had his name printed in support of the project on all of the Home Depot’s promotional and printed political materials. He even filed a malicious lawsuit against his own constituents (myself included) to try and defeat Measure H, and he worked to make the Home Depot a reality as a member of the city council by intimidating and bullying the opponents of the Home Depot.

I will never forget receiving my first phone call from an attorney representing Kuperberg, advising me to show up in court because of my participation in making Measure H a reality. And now Kuperberg says he was opposed to Home Depot?

We don’t need another politician who will say anything to get himself elected.

Please remember this when it comes time to vote this fall.
