Performing artists’ showcase will be Monday

The Ventura County Superintendent of Schools will present its annual showcase of performing artists from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon., June 2 in the Scherr Forum Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The event is a preview of live performances that will be touring schools next season and includes dance, theater, music, puppetry and storytelling.

Attendees will also learn about the large touring companies that will be performing for students at the Civic Arts Plaza as well as the Artist-In-The-Classroom Residency Program.
