Agoura Hills A partially open vehicle window provided easy access for burglar(s) who stole computer equipment and software from a car that was parked in an apartment complex’s underground garage between 3:30 p.m. May 16 and 1:45 a.m. May 17 in the 30800 block of Agoura Road. Total loss: $9,800. An office window was damaged ($200 loss) and computer equipment valued at $5,900 was stolen the night of May 18 in the 28700 block of Roadside Drive. The losses were $2,700 after a Toyota Celica’s airbags, in-dash stereo, headlamps and front-bumper cover were stolen from a Dorothy Drive business the night of May 19. Padlocks and vehicle doors on three panel trucks were damaged in the 5200 block of Chesebro Road between May 9 and 12 and two tool kits and a power saw were stolen. The total loss was $1,380. The damage amounted to $700 after a Volvo was keyed in the parking lot of a restaurant/bar between 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. May 16 in the 29100 block of Agoura Road. Vandal(s) knocked over a mailbox ($150 damage) on Balkins Drive the night of May 19. A white male (5-11 to 6-0, 180) in his late 20s with brown hair and wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt went to the beer refrigeration area of gas station at 2:10 a.m. May 17. The cashier told the subject that it was too late to buy alcoholic beverages, but the man ran with two 12-packs of bottled beer and drove away in a blue or green early 90s mid-sized pickup. The beer was valued at $33.06. Calabasas The night of May 13 on Balcony Drive, a vehicle window was shattered ($800 damage) and a purse, cell phone, cash and credit cards were stolen (a loss of $1,104). On Kearney Street the night of May 13, the total loss was $307 after a vehicle window was smashed and a wallet was stolen. Unincorporated L.A. County Between 7 and 8 p.m. May 19, a shooting occurred in the 5300 block of Newcastle Lane in an unincorporated area of L.A. County, west of Hidden Hills. At 11:15 a.m. Feb. 20, a black female, 54, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, bail was set at $50,000 and the suspect posted a bond and was released from custody. The weapon was recovered and the incident was still under investigation. Westlake Village Two Los Angeles County Fire Department badges and a fireman’s shirt were stolen ($64 loss) from Fire Station No. 144 between Feb. 1 and May 12. Westlake/T.O. Between 9 a.m. May 22 and 10 a.m. May 23 in the 500 block of Lakeview Canyon Road, a wristwatch and two rings were stolen, a loss of $95,000. Police RSS feed |
