Heschel West?

Heschel West School and its promised significant traffic is a thorn in the side of Old Agoura. Chesebro Road and the 101 exit are poorly designed and not well equipped for a significant increase of traffic. Yet Heschel West needs a site to build their school.

How about this? The acreage that Heschel West owns at the Chesebro exit is traded for the acreage northwest of the Liberty Canyon off-ramp (old Carpeteria site). This acreage may already be owned by a public agency.

The school is built upon this acreage, which has an underused freeway off-ramp, and the Old Agoura residents are not impacted by significant new traffic loads at Chesebro Road and adjoining intersections. The present Heschel West property becomes open space.

It’s a win/win if the trade can be accomplished–– a win/win for all but those politicians and parents who have disgraced themselves and their cause by cheap innuendoes.
