Child safety to be topic of Mothers and More meeting on Thurs., June 12

The Conejo Valley Chapter of Mothers and More will host Lisa Nelson of Interface Children Family Services in a talk on child safety at their 7:30 p.m. meeting Thurs., June 12 at the Cameron Center, 288 Greenmeadow Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The program’s goal is to encourage parents to be informed rather than afraid.

Attendees will learn how to talk to their children about abuse prevention using the guidelines suggested in the child safety program "My Body Belongs to Me."
