2003 debutantes introduced at annual charity event

Brittany Alexander Brittany Anne Alexander is graduating from Oak Park High School.

The Conejo Valley Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) introduced its 2003 debutantes on Sun., May 18 at Sherwood Country Club, Thousand Oaks, as part of its annual new member and debutante announcement tea.

The tea introduced the debutantes and recognized the 2003 senior Ticktockers who have contributed more than 12,000 hours of collective community service during their six-year membership in NCL, a mother-daughter organization in the Conejo Valley that offers community service to more than 20 local philanthropies.

In addition, NCL distributes proceeds raised at its annual antique seminar and its thrift shop, Fibber McGee’s, to these same philanthropies and to college scholarships for girls graduating from local high schools.

This year NCL provided 12,897 hours of community service and gave $14,500 in scholarship funds and $27,600 to Conejo Valley area charities and social service organizations.

Mariah Havens Mariah Sarah Havens is graduating from Westlake High School.

In celebration of the their six years of community service, the 2003 debutantes will be presented at the Conejo Valley Chapter’s National Charity League Ball on Nov. 29 at the Fairmount Hotel in Santa Monica.
