Moskow accepts Viewpoint’s award

Matt Mosko, a senior at Viewpoint High School, accepted the Toyota/CIF Southern Section Shake Hands for Sportsmanship Award, presented to Viewpoint at Dodger Stadium in April.

Viewpoint won the award from among the teams in the Liberty League. Recipients from more than 40 Southern California leagues attended the pre-game ceremony.

Mosko was named Viewpoint’s Athlete of the Year after leading the boys’ volleyball and basketball teams. He scored a school-record 47 points in a basketball game, was first team All-League in both sports and was named MVP for the Liberty League in volleyball, as well as making All-CIF.

Mosko will attend USC next fall where he has earned a scholarship to play volleyball.
