Lions unbeaten

The Oaks Christian softball team remained undefeated in Frontier League play (9-0) and improved to 21-2 overall when it beat Santa Paula, 2-1, behind the pitching of senior Ashlee Freeman and the hitting of junior second baseman Tiffany Day.

Day drove in two runs with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning, in a game played at Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, and Freeman pitched a complete game, striking out eight while giving up four hits.
