Go to Israel, learn film producing

The Jewish Federation’s Tel Aviv-Los Angeles Partnership is currently accepting applications to its fifth annual Cinema Master Class in Producing, to be offered from June 15 through 26 at the Tel Aviv University Film School in Israel. The class is free and accommodations are provided. Selected students will be responsible for airfare only (about $1,300; partial subsidies are available).

This is an intensive two-week workshop in creative producing with pitching workshops, writing seminars about funding and producing, private tours of Israel and exclusive movie screenings.

The master class is led by American and Israeli producers including Zvi Howard Rosenman, whose credits include "The Family Man," "Father of the Bride" and Oscar-winning documentaries.

New professionals, recent and current graduate filmmakers and upper division students are invited to apply.
