Sunshine smiles on Arts Festival

MICHAEL COONS/The Acorn CALABASAS TRADITION-Heavy rainfall on Friday night and intermittent showers on Saturday gave way to a beautiful Sunday as Calabasas celebrated its sixth annual arts and crafts festival last weekend. Above left, Marston Smith entertains the crowd with his his electric cello, while below, a few of the visitors dance to the live music. The festival drew almost 200 vendors from the West Coast and featured works in ceramic, glass, oil, watercolor, metal and other artistic mediums. Funds are being raised to help start a public art gallery in the city of Calabasas.
