Centennial Guild garage sale to benefit ill children

On Sat., May 10, the Centennial Guild, a fundraising affiliate for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, will sponsor a garage sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m at a member’s home, 29603 Ridgeway Drive, Agoura Hills.

Guild members’ children will help with many aspects of the event including running a bake sale. They will also create fliers and signs for the sale. Guild members’ children are raising money to purchase toys to restock the toy room at the hospital.

The toy supply becomes depleted during summer months and inpatients benefit from these treats, according to the Guild.

The Guild sponsors a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, and all proceeds benefit the patients and programs of Children’s Hospital.
