Calabasas High School music students recognized again

Several students from the Calabasas High School (CHS) Music Department were recently honored in statewide competitions.

Students named to the highly-competitive California All-State Honor Band were Aaron Meyer (percussion) and Jesse Tenenbaum, Evan Hou and Daniel Reyes (all on clarinet).

Selected for the All Southern California High School Honor Band were Tenenbaum (clarinet), Carolyn Davies (oboe) and Gabriele Fiore (clarinet).

Ninth graders Alex Frank (clarinet) and Andy Iser (trombone) were named to the All Southern California Junior High School Honor Band.

Josh Barroll is director of the CHS Music Department, overseeing a variety of vocal and instrumental groups.
