A housekeeper or workers who installed a garbage disposal are possible suspects in the theft of jewelry from a Canterbury Drive home. The $3,800 loss occurred between Feb. 2 and 14.

A wallet, cash, a backpack, eyewear, a personal stereo and 150 music CDs totaling a loss of $2,256 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Jan. 27 or 28 on Acacia Glen.

By smashing a vehicle window ($300 damage) burglar(s) broke into and stole a purse and cash ($900 loss) from a car outside a business in the 30600 block of Canwood Street between 10 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Feb. 11.

A motorized scooter that was secured to a street sign at Driver Avenue and Colodny Street was stolen and its bolt lock was destroyed. The $802 total loss occurred between 2:30 and 5 p.m. Feb. 16.

The loss was $500 after Sumac Elementary School windows were vandalized between Feb. 14 and 16.

A victim on Liberty Canyon Road has been the target of vandalism twice in the last six months. In the most recent incident (the night of Feb. 13), her dwelling was strewn with toilet paper, canned tuna was placed inside a pair of shoes on her porch area and an egg was splattered on her door lock and door mat.

Calabasas

On Feb. 16 or 17 in the 26700 block of Agoura Road, a business window was shattered and computer equipment and a TV were stolen. The total loss was $15,280.

A white male who rode away in a four-door bark brown Honda (that was driven by another male) is a suspect in the break-in of a BMW at De Anza Park at 5 p.m. Feb. 14. A backpack and organizer were stolen and a vehicle window had been smashed (for a total loss of $350).

Between 8:30 and 10:55 a.m. Feb. 17, $55 cash was stolen from a business in the 26500 block of Agoura Road. A white male (6-0, 175) in his mid-30s who had entered the store through a back door (requesting to use a restroom) is a possible suspect.

Westlake/T.O.

Between 11p.m. Feb. 22 and 12 p.m. Feb. 23 in the 900 block of Deepwood Drive, $700 in damages occurred when a rock was thrown at a vehicle.

A mailbox was destroyed with a rock, causing $250 in damage between 5 p.m. Feb. 21 and 3 p.m. Feb. 22 in the 5000 block of Lakeview Canyon.

Damages were $50 when a mailbox was smashed between 5 p.m. Feb. 21 and 7 a.m. Feb. 22 in the 1000 block of Deepwood Drive.

Westlake Village

The loss was $5,500 after a business door was smashed with a rock and a computer printer was stolen. The time of the break-in was 3:29 p.m. Feb. 16 (when a burglar alarm went off) in the 31300 block of Oak Crest Drive.

Exterior light fixtures at a home were vandalized after rocks were thrown on Three Springs Drive between 12:30 and 8 a.m. Feb. 17. Total loss: $800.

Someone threw a rock at a car in the 32000 block of Watergate Road at midnight Feb. 14. Damages to the hood and windshield were $600.
