Does Ahmanson have connection to Measure A?

The Coalition for Competent Leadership filed a Late Independent Expenditure Report on Oct. 29, 2002. The FPPC forms are missing much of the legally required information about the contributors who, according to these forms, raised about $20,000 in one day from 30 contributors.

Only Charles W. Cohen, attorney (for the Ahmanson Ranch developer), and one other contributor disclosed their occupation or employer. Why?

The Coalition for Competent Leadership had a full-page ad in last week’s Acorn urging voters in Calabasas to support Measure A. Why?

Could it be that the contributors to the Coalition for Competent Leadership have a financial interest in seeing the Ahmanson Ranch project built?
