Jewish Academy to discuss pain and suffering

"Faith and Suffering: Where is God When it Hurts?" is the subject of an 8 p.m. lecture tonight, Thurs., Feb. 27 at Conejo Jewish Academy (CJA), 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. In the lecture, Rabbi Moshe D. Bryski, executive director of Chabad of the Conejo and CJA, will focus on the Jewish perspective on some of life’s most difficult questions including "How does one cope and have faith when a tragedy strikes? Can faith and suffering go hand in hand? How do we lead a ‘meaningful life’ if life is filled with pain?"

The lecture is free and open to the public with advance reservations requested by calling (818) 991-0991.
