T.O.-Westlake Chamber will host economic forecast meeting

The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Thousand Oaks Rotary Club will present the "Local Economic Forecast Seminar" from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tues., March 4 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Keynote speaker Bill Watkins, Ph.D., executive director of the UCSB Economic Forecast Project, will focus specifically on recent data for Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village.

Supporting presentations will be made by city of Thousand Oaks Manager of Economic Development, Gary Wartik and Rotarian and city of Westlake Village treasurer, Bob Biery.

In addition, Rotarian Rick Principe of Westcord Commercial Real Estate will present a T.O./Westlake Village outlook on commercial real estate and Rotarian Jan Small, store manager of JC Penney at The Oaks will present a Conejo Valley retail perspective.

Those registering by today, Thurs., Fri. Feb. 27 pay $40; cost at the door is $45.
