T.O.’s Earth Day Celebration coming on March 22

The city of Thousand Oaks Arbor/Earth Day Celebration will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., March 22 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Park, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Highlights of the festival include entertainment, a tree planting, children’s activities, tree and plant giveaways, composting techniques, environmentally-friendly vehicles, exhibitors, vendors, arts and crafts and other displays. Park rangers will share facts about local open space areas as well as parks. The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will host a used book sale.

Individuals or groups who want to participate as an exhibitor or vendor should call Kate Thomas at (805) 449-2468 or via e-mail at kthomas@toaks.org. There’s no charge for applicable nonprofit organizations; other vendors may reserve a booth for $30.
