History of Conejo Valley being taught
Class at Stagecoach Inn Museum
Residents new and old are invited to attend the class, "Discover the Conejo Valley Story," from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 20 and 27 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park. It is presented by members of the Conejo Valley Historical Society and is sponsored by the Conejo Valley Adult School. Participants will learn about people and events from pre-history to the beginning of neighborhoods. They will be introduced to the first land developers, ranchers, teachers and others who founded the community. The valley’s story will be told through slides, living history presentations and a tour of the Stagecoach Inn Museum. The cost is $25. To register, call (805) 497-2761. |
