Vote for Lee

Is it really fair to lay blame for hostility sometimes exhibited by the Calabasas City Council on one or two members alone? What does this say about some candidates who would rather slam an opponent personally than stick to the issues? There are five individual and distinct personalities on this council, and they all have their separate and sometimes quirky ways. If it’s a blame game we’re playing here, there’s plenty to go around.

Yet despite the rancor and rhetoric, when it comes to the vote, with few exceptions, they are on the same side. Fighting and arguing on city councils everywhere is the rule rather than exception. Just look at Malibu––like cats and dogs sometimes.

The voting record should be the measure of an incumbent. Janice Lee’s record speaks for itself. Her involvement in the community, long before she was ever elected to public office, demonstrates her dedication and commitment to this city and its citizens.

We need Janice for another four years.
