She’s had it with ‘King George’

Wake up, America! We no longer have a democracy.

King George and the Republicans have arrived. This war is about oil. It is payback time for the $500 million he received to win the election. Alternative energy is out. We are back with the dirty three—oil, coal and nuclear. King George says these industries don’t have to clean up the environment they ruined. The taxpayer will be glad to pick up the tab for it.

Now we are finding out what Dick Cheney’s private meeting was about. How many know about the Baku Pipeline in Azerbaijan that is to go from the Caspian Sea through Georgia and Turkey? It is too risky for oil companies to spend their money on, and their banks won’t lend risky money.

Guess what? King George has raised the export-import’s authority to $100 billion with no safeguards against corruption or human rights abuses––and environmental standards are out the window. The deals are kept secret, so don’t worry about our money—King George will see that only the wealthiest receive our help.

There are 10 oil companies in on the Baku deal and they stand to make a gusher of profits which I don’t think they will share with us taxpayers. The head of this group is CEO George Browne of British Petroleum, who calls our money "free public money."

There are lots of other overseas secret deals.
