Citizenship class is offered

Area residents who need to learn about American history and government in order to pass their Immigration and Naturalization Service test for citizenship are welcome to take a free course offered by Conejo Valley Adult School (CVAS), 1025 Old Farm Road, Thousand Oaks.

The class began Jan. 18 but will continue through April 12. It is taught from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays in the school auditorium. Any student with an intermediate level of English proficiency or higher may enroll. Childcare is provided.
