Local shooters show their stuff Results of the Hotshot Contest sponsored by the city of Agoura Hills have been announced. Conducted last month at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, the contest tested a child’s speed, dribbling, shooting and rebounding skills in basketball. There were four categories of competition in four separate age groups. Children competed to receive special prizes and awards. The first place winners were: Chris Leal of Westlake Village (Group One division, 48 points); Ryan Basch of Agoura Hills (Group Two, 63 points); Sean Whitney of Westlake Village (Group Three, 72 points) and Chase Atkins of Agoura Hills (Group Four, 46 points). |
