Citizens sought to serve on T.O. committees

Five citizens are requested to serve on the City Manager Search Ad Hoc Citizen Committee, an ad hoc advisory committee to the city council of Thousand Oaks. During a December city council meeting, a motion was passed to appoint five citizens (one per councilmember) to review city manager applications and select five candidates to be interviewed by the city council.

Citizens interested in serving on this volunteer committee may obtain an application and/or further information by visiting the City Clerk of the city of Thousand Oaks, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks, or calling (805) 449-2151.

All applicants must be residents of the city and shall not be officials or employees of the city and make application no later than Feb. 4.

MaryJane Lazz, city manager, is retiring from the city of Thousand Oaks this spring. Committee members will serve until the search is completetd.
