Proud to defend the lifestyle of Old Agoura

Proud to defend the lifestyle of Old Agoura

The letters from Rabbi Moshe D. Bryski and Martin Spiegel are steeped in arrogance and fail to appreciate the threat to a valued lifestyle that bonds Old Agoura residents, a lifestyle that fosters the raising of animals and the preservation of wildlife.

I don’t consider graded hills, increasing pollutants and noise from the freeway, years of construction, a 30-foot artificial-graded platform, 18-foot-high structures, 750 students in a schoolyard, concrete parking lots, lights at night, and additional high-volume traffic an enhancement to our tranquil and unique community.

We already accommodate three fine schools in our small community.

I am not ashamed—on the contrary, proud—to defend a lifestyle held dear by all who live here.
