Calabasas lawsuit a waste of time

The Calabasas lawsuit appears to me to be a frivolous lawsuit. As a citizen of Ventura County for the past 35 years, I do not see a violation of the Brown Act.

In fact, I would expect members of the planning commission to visit the site and to see firsthand areas of concern covered in the report.

If this is a violation of the Brown Act, then perhaps it is time to be modified, especially in view of the fact that the public has been invited many times over the past 10 years to visit the site and see firsthand what Ahmanson has proposed and what they have done, including getting 10,000 acres of open space set aside for public use.

I sincerely hope that the Superior Court can see how frivolous this lawsuit is and act accordingly by throwing it out, including the lawsuit being filed by others.

Ahmanson, over the past 10 years, has more than met its obligation to the public.

It is time the public meets its obligation to Ahmanson and lets them proceed with this much-needed housing in a well-balanced environment which includes human beings.
