Westlake Village Inn a ‘heart safe’ zone

Westlake Village Inn was recently applauded by the Ventura County EMS Agency for installing two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) on their premises at 31943 Agoura Road, Westlake Village.

The American Heart Association strongly encourages communities to establish a public access defibrillation (PAD) program, and Westlake Village Inn was saluted for being one of the first in creating a "heart safe" zone at their hotel. Janet Lester of Emergency Responders Network assisted the Inn in purchasing AEDs for the hotel’s main lobby and restaurant and provided comprehensive training to the Inn’s employees.
