Performing arts school accepting new students

Chamberlain’s Performing and Fine Arts Academy will host an Open House/Free Classes through Sat., Sept. 21 to introduce youth ages 6 to 15 to the academy’s new fall classes, offered after school and Saturdays.

Now in its 12th year, the Academy presents a spring and summer musical each year. Auditions are being held for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" to be performed at the new Performing Arts Center at Newbury Park High School.

Year-round after school classes include musical theater, pop singing, voice, violin, acting for stage and film and art lessons. Also offered is a Homework Club and speed reading.
