Program designed for youth offered at LDS Church

"Especially for Youth" is a program sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to encourage youth to read and study the scriptures, increase self-respect and deal with today’s challenges. Youth ages 12 to 18 are invited to attend the program from 3 to 6 p.m. Sat., Sept. 21 at 1600 Erbes Road, Thousand Oaks.

Ronald Bartholomew will speak on "The Power of the Scriptures in Your Daily Life."

Curtis Castillo will address the topic "If You Can’t Say Somethin’ Nice, Don’t Say Anything At All."

Robert Wold will present "If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear."

A dance for youth ages 14 to 18 will follow from 8 to 11 p.m. Please call (805) 495-3692 for information on dress code requirements.

Admission is $8 at the door.
