Tutor Time has State of the Art Facility Tutor Time Child Care Learning Centers is one of the largest child care providers in the U.S. There are 30 centers in California. Each Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center incorporates "state-of-the-art" design and equipment. As with most Tutor Time Centers, the Agoura Hills Tutor Time was built from the ground up. With one of the largest infant care centers in Southern California, the Agoura Hills Tutor Time provides care for infants from six weeks of age to children of 6 years. Children through age 6 utilize the pre-school. Classrooms are all age appropriate beginning with the infant care room to the after school room. Each classroom utilizes colors of red, blue and yellow throughout. All walls have rounded corners. Floors are carpeted and tiled depending on location. Each classroom has its own bathroom and kitchen area. Tutor Time is educationally driven with a proprietary curriculum developed by Tutor Time for the exclusive use at the centers. Tutor Time is structured but always keeps in mind that children are, in fact, children. Children use workbooks each month and parents have a calendar guide which follows what their children are working on. Every month a new book and calendar are issued. Staffing is tied directly to the need of the group as much as it is to the size of the group. Tutor Town Village is always the fun center at Tutor Time. Here, children play-act roles, as the village is a small town with a post office, market, house, fire station, small shops and a two-story slide-down ballpit. Children simply love this room. Starting at the front door, an electronic security program known as "Safe N Sound" allows only enrolled parents and children to enter the Center. Each family is issued an individual electronic card that allows for their exclusive entry. Once inside the Center, the parent logs into the computer system, telling the Center they are there and their child has arrived. The reverse process is used upon exiting. Every classroom has video monitoring with sound which can be viewed by the parents in the director’s office at the Center at any time. All classrooms have large viewing glass windows where parents can view their children anywhere in the Center. Families are welcome to tour the facility.
