Fall equinox to be celebrated at Chumash Center

A fall equinox celebration will be presented from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., Sept. 22 at Oakbrook Regional Park’s Chumash Interpretive Center, 3290 Lang Ranch Parkway, Thousand Oaks. The event will be free and open to the public.

Those interested in attending are asked to bring their own food and drink (no alcohol), chairs, instruments such as drums, clappersticks, rattles and other types, crafts to "share, barter and/or sell," and stories to tell. Members of the local Chumash community are expected to attend.
