CPR taught Life-saving CPR and first aid skills will be taught in courses offered by the American Red Cross of Ventura County this fall. Advance registration is required and may be completed by calling (805) 339-2234, ext. 233. "Adult CPR with First Aid," a course that teaches rescuers how to treat cardiac emergencies, breathing emergencies, choking and first aid skills, will be taught from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Sept. 28 and Sat., Oct. 26 at the Conejo Community Center, 1300 Hendrix Ave., Thousand Oaks. Registration fee is $40. |
