A window of a Cadillac Escalade was smashed ($300 damage) and makeup and an overnight bag totaling a loss of $650 were stolen between 3 and 3:05 p.m. Sept. 9 at Mulholland Highway and Troutdale Drive while the victims (a male and his female companion) were taking pictures at Peter Strauss Ranch.

A purse and cosmetic bag were stolen and an SUV window was smashed during a vehicle break-in on Latigo Canyon Road the afternoon of Sept. 9. Total loss: $338.

Agoura Hills

An SUV had $300 window damage and a purse, cell phone and cash were stolen ($109 loss) after a vehicle break-in the night of Sept. 5 on Bertrand Drive.

A minivan window had $300 damage and a purse, wallet and cash were stolen ($35 loss) from an Agoura High School parking lot around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6. A male, 30-35 (5-10, 170) with a moustache and who appeared to be either Hispanic or Middle Eastern is a suspect.

Calabasas

The loss was $4,500 after three laptop computers were stolen (possibly by an employee) at a business in the 23800 block of Calabasas Road. The theft occurred on Sept. 5 or 6 and no signs of forced entry were observed.

The lock to a truck’s cargo area was damaged and clothing and a cordless drill were stolen from a fast food parking lot between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 4700 block of Las Virgenes Road. Total loss: $3,225.

Repair workers had access to a Freedom Drive home between Aug. 24 and 28 when a pair of earrings valued at $2,000 was stolen.

Nine bottles of Dom Perignon and three bottles of Remy Martin were stolen ($1,220 loss) from an Agoura Road supermarket on Sept. 4 or 5.

Cigarettes—$480 worth—were stolen from a gas station in the 24000 block of Calabasas Road. A front door was smashed with rocks sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. Sept. 8 when the burglary occurred.

Stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Pulido Court between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3 were a file folder, a calculator and a briefcase (a loss of $290).

Hidden Hills

Cash—$100—was stolen by a white female, 24 or younger, with brown hair (5-10 to 6-0, 170-180). The theft occurred at an El Dorado Meadow Road home the afternoon of Sept. 3. The suspect, who spoke with an Australian accent, had been allowed to enter the home for a drink of water.

Oak Park

A bottle of Captain Morgan’s Rum valued at $12.99 was stolen at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 15 from the Ralph’s supermarket on Lindero Canyon Road

Westlake Village

Two male guests of a female, 20, are possible suspects in the theft of $3,025 worth of valuables (a computer, video game, a sub-woofer and an oriental rug). The items were stolen from a Kirsten Lee Drive home between Aug. 27 and Sept. 4.

Drywall and an office door had $150 damages and electronic equipment and two computers were stolen after a business was burglarized between 5 p.m. Sept. 6 and 3:30 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 31800 block of Village Center Road.
