What happened to no smoking signs? What happened to no smoking signs? What ever happened to the "DANGER—BRUSH FIRE ZONE—NO SMOKING" signs that used to be posted at various points in the county? It seems to me that this is one of the cheaper fire prevention measures that can be taken. Perhaps fire chiefs Hughes, Schuster and Capt. Swanson could point out the more dangerous spots, and the county, nearby cities or major local corporations could fund the signs. I continue to see a number of drivers on Point Dume and Malibu Canyon Road flip a cigarette stub out their window. Stephen Richard Levine Westlake Village |
