MDA says ‘Thank you’

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone in your area who supported the Jerry Lewis Telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association over the Labor Day weekend.

Thanks to their support, the telethon broadcast on KCAL 9 raised $4,052,624 to help families in this community who are struggling with muscle-wasting diseases. We also want to thank everyone who supports MDA throughout the year, especially our great local sponsors, including Ralph’s/Food4Less, Acuprint, United Imaging, Sit & Sleep, Paul’s TV, and Delta Airlines.

Having a neuromuscular disease can be an isolating experience. But the response to our telethon shows us that we’re not in this fight alone.

There’s a saying among people in the MDA community: "Every day is one day closer to a cure." Your support reinforces that hope, and we’re deeply grateful.
