Doesn’t agree with speed trap letter

In his Aug. 29 letter on traffic control, Ken Handler is dead wrong. Thank God for traffic enforcement on Kanan Road.

I have worked at Savon Drugs for 10 years and have seen many accidents.

There is a lot of foot traffic, students, workers who ride buses, bikes and elderly people. The speed limit needs to stay at 35 mph and fines should be doubled.

I frequently see motorists going 50 to 60 mph and slam on their brakes when they see the deputy with his radar gun.
