Cancer treatment side effects discussed

The Wellness Community will present a special workshop, "Frankly Speaking About Cancer Treatment Side Effects," from 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 26 at their facility, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. Stanley Rossman, M.D. and Nancy Jo Bush, RN, MN, AOCN, will facilitate the workshop.

Knowing what to expect and how to handle side effects can help eliminate much of the anxiety associated with cancer treatment.

The workshop will provide information about side effect prevention and treatment from both medical and psychosocial perspectives.
