Sheriff’s blotter Agoura Hills Sheriff’s blotter Agoura Hills A possible suspect was named after graffiti was spray painted on a garage door and other doors on Old Carriage Court between 1 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. May 26. The damage was $600. Calabasas Two computers valued at $1,754 were stolen (possibly by a male driving a white van). The theft occurred at a loading dock in the 26600 block of Agoura Road at 3:15 p.m. May 29. The loss was $675 after a cell phone, music CDs and vehicle stereo equipment were stolen from an unlocked SUV on Meadowlark Drive the night of May 24. From an unlocked vehicle an in-dash stereo faceplate, a cell phone and a first aid kit were stolen (a loss of $620). The theft occurred in the 4800 block of El Cajon Avenue between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. May 25. No signs of forced entry were noted in the theft of a crystal curio and a cigar lighter that were taken from a business office in the 5200 block of Las Virgenes Road between 4 p.m. May 20 and 7:30 a.m. May 21. Oak Park Sometime before 7:15 p.m. May 28, a burglary took place in the 1000 block of Kanan Road. Unknown suspect(s) entered a locked shed and took construction equipment, including a concrete cutter, resulting in a loss of more than $15,250. Burglar(s) entered an open garage in the 4900 block of Rock Castle Court and stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle. The loss was $325 and the theft occurred sometime before noon May 29. Westlake/T.O. Vandalism occurred at 10 a.m. May 24 when a hedge was run over by a motorist in the 1600 block of Shetland Drive ($200 in damages). Westlake Village At 8:45 p.m. May 29, a white male (6-3, 200), 45-50, with gray hair and wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans (with a nylon stocking covering his face) pulled a blue steel handgun and demanded cash at the Subway sandwich shop in the 30800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The suspect fled the store with $124. A videotape surveillance camera recorded the robbery and was taken as evidence by authorities. Tools—$2,000 worth—were stolen from an unlocked pickup between 10:50 and 11 a.m. May 23 in the 31300 block of Agoura Road. |
