New pastor to lead Christian Church of the Hills

Christian Church of the Hills (CCH) invites the community to the installation of Larry Sullivan as its new pastor at 10 a.m. on Sun., June 9 at CCH, 29295 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills.

The church wants to be a positive influence on the community under the direction of its new pastor.

A survey taken in San Francisco revealed a negative response to how people think about the church. In the present social climate many church leaders are working to dispel a "somewhat tarnished" view of the Christian church, according to CCH.

However, another study showed that, statistically, in many communities the church is the primary vehicle for economic, social and spiritual transformation.
