IN PUERTO VALLARTA-Local children, clockwise from upper left are Loren Boykoff, Rachel Seideman, Hillary Sherman, Megan Boykoff and Andrea Seideman. The kids were on spring break a year ago, obviously having a wonderful time. We're sure they did some studying, too, because the world's greatest kids live right here. POSITIVE ATTITUDE IN THE ALTITUDE-Howard and Billie Sontag of Agoura Hills enjoy shades of green as a backdrop in the Austrian Alps. They enjoyed this spectacular scenery in June of last summer, almost a year ago. Be sure to Take Your Acorn on Vacation this year, whether it's Magic Mountain or Outer Mongolia | GOOD KNIGHT-Elliot and Ann Sturman of Westlake Village display their Acorn inside the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ann says, "We had a lot of fun posing with the paper. We looked pretty goofy sometimes but no one took a second glance." You're always classy when you show your hometown newspaper, right? |
NICE IN NICE-Ed Bernard, pictured, and his wife, Anna, visit the south of France. Here we see Ed reading his Acorn in Nice. The Bernards are from Calabasas. | RED CHINA IS GREEN HERE-Simcha and Phyliss Saul of Agoura Hills read their Acorn at the Great Wall of China during their family vacation with Leora and Benjamin (not pictured). We've heard it's a myth that the Great Wall is visible by astronauts circling the Earth. If so, we're disappointed. But wherever you go on vacation, be sure to take The Acorn along. |
ON A CRUISE-Vera Barton of Agoura Hills shares her Acorn with a moose and a bear during a cruise to Juneau, Alaska on the cruise ship Dawn Princess. Vera took her vacation last August. Be sure to Take Your Acorn on Vacation this summer and send us a photo depicting scenery and someone with a front page of The Acorn. We'll start new photo pages next fall. |
