The forum will provide Boyle with an opportunity to explore a variety of concepts in public health, medical ethics, research and general practice, including site visits to medical facilities and clinics.

As he goes behind the scenes to view professionals at work, Boyle will also have the opportunity to interact with physicians, surgeons, researchers, scientists and medical educators. He was selected along with about 350 other high school students based on academic excellence, leadership potential and interest in medicine.

At WHS, Boyle was named a Scholar Athlete in baseball with a 4.0 GPA for two years and was awarded an Academic Letter this year. He works part-time at Anza Veterinary Clinic, Thousand Oaks.
