OPHS track fundraiser is tomorrow

Fundraising efforts continue to construct a new all-weather track for Oak Park High School. A fundraiser will begin with a private reception at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., May 10 in the Praying Monk Room of The Canyon, Agoura Hills, prior to the start of the Average White Band performance at 9 p.m. To purchase tickets, please call Kim Hermes at (818) 991-1638.

Parents and/or other community members interested in supporting the fundraising efforts, which aim to replace the school’s dirt track with a tartan surface, may sign-up for e-scrip when using a Vons Club Card or other credit cards; please call Donna Conner at (818) 865-1636 for additional details.

On Saturdays from 8 a.m. until late afternoon, Kerry Clasby sells flowers in front of the school at 899 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park, and donates a portion of her sales to help build the track.
