‘Grease’ shined

‘Grease’ shined

Last Friday night we had the pleasure of attending Oak Park High School’s fabulous rendition of the Broadway musical "Grease." What a great time!

The high energy production set at the Thousand Oaks Civic Center was a wonderful night out for those of us who love good, solid family entertainment.

Allan Hunt’s direction was superb. The entire cast and crew did an excellent job singing and dancing. You could tell these kids were having a blast, and they took us along for the ride.

Shelby Schulman as the tough chick, Rizzo; Matt Fondiler as a mooning Roger; and Andrew Fox as Eugene provided lots of laughs and three standout performances.

It takes a tremendous amount of time, work, energy, and support to put on such a production, and I wanted to publicly say "thank you" to all those Oak Park High cast and crew members who shared their talent and skill with us.
