Achievement to be celebrated

Temple Adat Elohim will host a celebration marking a milestone in the career of Rabbi Alan Greenbaum at 7:30 p.m. on Wed., May 15 in the temple’s Social Hall, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Rabbi Greenbaum will be receiving his honorary Doctorate of Divinity for his service to the rabbinate for the past 25 years from Hebrew Union College, Jewish Institute of Religion.

A dessert reception and performance by the temple’s new musical ensemble under the direction of Cantor Peter Halpern highlight the evening’s festivities.
