Wedding plans set for Maxwell and Stokes

Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Maxwell of Atlanta, Ga., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lisha Suzanne Maxwell of Dallas, Tex., to Sanford Lee Stokes of Houston, Tex., son of Mr. and Mrs. Hayman Wilson (Will) Stokes of Calabasas.

The future bride is a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University, with a degree in Business Administration, and is currently a project manager of HealthVision, an e-health solutions company.

The groom-to-be is a 1988 graduate of Calabasas High School. He also graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in construction management in 1992. While at Arizona State, he served as a senator in the student government and was an intern for the Arizona state Assembly’s Transportation Committee. He’s worked for Western Summit Constructors of Denver, Colo. for nine years, and is currently a project manager with the Gulf Coast division in Houston.

A June 1 wedding is planned at Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta.
