Job Fair is next Wednesday in Thousand Oaks

Conejo Valley Adult Education will host a Job Fair open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wed., May 15 at 1025 Old Farm Road, Thousand Oaks.

The fair will feature recruiters from Blue Cross/Wellpoint, the city of Thousand Oaks, Hyatt Westlake and other area employers. Companies are seeking to fill both entry level and mid-level positions in a wide variety of skill areas.

Employees with customer service and computer skills are sought, as are those with retail and office experience.

There will be a drawing for free computer classes.

Employment Development Department will host two free job search seminars that assist job seekers in refining their job search techniques.

The Job Fair is sponsored by the Professional Development Center, a division of Conejo Valley Adult Education that offers certificates in a variety of categories. Information on the intensive, short-term programs will be available at the fair.
