Hidden Hills city employee earns certified status

Deana L. Morerod, who serves as the administrative assistant for the city of Hidden Hills, has received the designation "Certified Municipal Clerk" from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

Morerod has been employed with the city since April 1990. The certification program aids municipal clerks and deputy clerks in improving job performance and recognizes the professionalization of the Municipal Clerk’s office.

Requirements to earn the designation include completion of a recognized career development institute or a baccalaureate degree in public administration or related field; responsible experience in local government; and participation in conferences, meetings and educational seminars.
